The Bible is full of kids who are tuff, just like kids in the inner-city today. Their faith in God made them tuff, to help them deal with crazy stuff. The kids in your program might deal with the same things these kids did. Like being a foster kid. That's tuff. Or being threatened by an oversized thug or bully. That's really tuff. Or being touched inappropriately by a half brother. Blended families can be tuff stuff.
But all of these kids got through these things with God's help. God can help your kids, too.
Tuff Like Me is volume VI of the Shortie Reproducible Bible lesson Pages. They are ideal for kids ages 8-12, but can be used for kids a bit older and a bit younger. Each lesson is two pages long.
One side of the lesson deals with looking up scripture and the Bible story. The other side contains tuff questions for your kids to answer on their own or to discuss with a group.
These issues are tuff, and supply verses to kids to give them hope to deal with these situation. The lessons are also open ended so you can have flexibility in where your discussion goes.
